Long-term research:

Sensor Technologies is working in a number of areas to extend its existing technology and researching new product lines to serve existing markets and open new markets in the 2-3 year timeframe.

Three areas of interest are; advanced materials with built-in sensing properties, advanced systems for oil and gas leak detection, and security systems monitoring intrusion. The former area involves acollaboration with the University of New Brunswick.
